Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Keept mobile application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Keept Is

Keept is a personal savings motivation tool. Amounts you log represent your own estimates of money you chose not to spend. Keept is not a bank, does not hold funds, and does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice.

2. Keept Premium

Keept offers optional paid upgrades, billed through your Apple ID:

• Monthly subscription — auto-renews every month. Includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Yearly subscription — billed upfront, auto-renews every year.
• Lifetime — a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks premium features. It does not renew.

Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

3. Renewal and Cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
• If you cancel, you keep premium access until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are issued by us; refund requests are handled by Apple.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Your Content

Entries, goals, and photos you add remain yours and are stored on your device (and in your own iCloud account if sync is enabled). You are responsible for keeping backups; deleting the app deletes locally stored data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and not to use it in violation of applicable law or Apple's Media Services Terms.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Savings figures, projections, and statistics are based solely on the data you enter and are for motivational purposes only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes to paid features will be communicated as required by Apple's policies.
